I need help in India ink, unlike watercolor it drys fairly quickly. is there a way with adding too much water to keep it workable?

oh... Indian ink is different than watercolor... I prefer use dry, on bond paper, is hard to use wet, I think you need a fine paper and work with layers

espectacular! yo ya llevo mis años en la acuarela... pero la tecnica de la sal que nombras ahi me causo mucho interes... ya lo habia intentado antes, pero al no saber la pintura se seco y quedaron los granos de sal ahi XD.... podrias hacer una breve explicacion de esa tecnica??? pleaseeeeee :D!

con sal funciona asi.. yo le recomiendo usar una proporcion donde predomine mas el pigmento en vez de agua... con mucha agua la sal se derrite, la idea es que la sal absorba la saturacion de color y quedan como manchitas...

Ok, entonces, sobre papel seco aplicamos el color (pigmento y poca agua) le echamos sal, hay que ponerle mucha casi que se vea como una pelota encima, bueno, todo depende de como quiere que se vea la textura, entre mas marcada mas sal y menos marcada menos sal, cuando la pintura se seca es cuando se le quita la sal, a veces se queda pegado y la puede quitar con un pincel seco, o con la mano, siempre y cuando no maltrate las ebras del papel y se pierda/dañe el trabajo, si se la quita antes de que seque se pierde la textura...

:) espero que entienda, esa medio enredado de explicar, podria enviarle un archivo con fotos del proceso pero seria el fin de semana :)

Está bonito. ¡Que montón de trabajo! Cubre todo, de ahí es cosa de ponerse las pilas :)
Yo usaba un solo pincel redondo #12, hehe. El agua le hace fina la puta y puedo hacer desde detalles hasta rellenar grandes áreas o mojar :P
La goma de enmascarar es una pega, no la recomiendo en lo más mínimo.

Muchas gracias! Es básico, siento que es una pequeña pero básica introduccion... :D gracias otra vez! fue un trabajo largo :)

Yo hago exactamente lo mismo con el pincel, pero uso uno más fino... no se ocupa un monton... ke payasada XD

Ah bueno, no la usare entonces! igual... siento ke es muy tonto, para ke usar la goma esa, mientras la pongo y todo, duraria casi lo mismo ke pintando con cuidado :S (y kitandola por supuesto)

Creo que por el engomado... porke se encoje cuando uno lo moja, o se expande... algo así era, yo antes pintaba asi... pero al final no hay diferencia.. creo, y como lo dije, mi forma no es académica, y no creo ke uno necesite la academia para hacer buenas cosas :)
